Pay Your Bills

You can now pay your Medicare bills online. E-Bill Express is our secure payment portal that allows you to pay your monthly Medicare premiums and medical bills online. Invoices are available in E-Bill Express each month. You can make a single payment or set up automatic recurring payments.

You are also able to change your default payment options. If you prefer not to use the online payment system, you can still submit payment by mail. Use the Payment Option Form to notify us of your preferences.

After enrolling in this payment service, when can I start paying my bills?

After you complete and submit the enrollment form and respond to the activation email, we will start your service immediately. You can then access the service to pay a current bill or view past bills. You should begin receiving an E-Bill notification within a month or so, depending upon the billing cycle.

Can I make partial payments or overpay on my account?

Yes. On the “Pay My Bill” page, you can indicate if the payment you are making is a partial or “short pay” or an over payment. If the payment amount matched the amount due, then you do not need to check either box. If you make a partial payment, you will need to continue making payments until the amount is paid in full. If you overpay, a positive credit will appear on your account that you can use to pay bills later on.

Do I need any special hardware or software to sign up for this E-Bill Express payment services?

E-Bill Express supports the following systems:

  • The user’s system will have the OS and browser installed in a standard manner for end‐users
  • E‐Bill Express supports: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 on a PC
  • For the software Windows OS on PCs, E‐Bill Express supports:
  • Current version of Microsoft Internet Explorer® ‐ IE11 ‐ previous versions have lost support from Microsoft o Current version of Firefox® (FF) plus previous 1 version o Current version of Chrome® plus previous 1 version
  • E‐Bill Express supports OS X® 10.9+ on a Mac
  • For the software OS on Mac:   o E‐Bill Express supports Current version of Safari®
  • E‐Bill Express does NOT support Safari on PC, or any other browser or OS on a PC
  • Added in EBE v6.0:   o IOS 8 and 9 support on iPad v2+ and iPhone v4+ and a stock Safari browser for those devices and OS o Android v4.4+ and a stock browser for the OS and device

During the E-Bill Express enrollment process, I hit the “Back” button to view a prior screen. Now I can’t log back-in because my password is not being accepted. What should I do next?

It is possible the domain of the URL changed when you hit “Back.” To fix this problem, simply start over at the E-Bill Express log-in screen. You can access it by clicking on the link at the top of this page, or by clicking the button below:

How can I confirm that a payment has been made?

Once you submit a payment, a confirmation window will pop-up to confirm the transaction and provide you with a confirmation number. We recommend that you save or print the page for your records.

How can I setup automatic recurring payments?

To help members set-up their E-Bill Express accounts, we created a special video tutorial with easy to follow directions. Please view the “Tutorials” section above to get started.

How far in advance of the due date should I schedule my payments?

We suggest you schedule your payment for at least 3 business days before the actual payment due date.

How long does it take a payment to post to my health plan account?

Please allow at least 3 business days for payments to be applied to your account, so please plan your payments accordingly.

The tutorial videos are not available and there’s no message as to why they won’t play. How can this issue be fixed?

This may be happening if you are using a pop-up or ad blocking software. If you have ad blocking software in place, you typically have the option to allow quick exceptions for pop-ups like our tutorial videos. Try by holding down the CTRL button when you click the link. If a message displays on your browser that a “pop-up has been blocked,” click on the message and allow pop-ups from our site.

What happens if I do not pay my health plan premium bill?

You should pay for any health bills you have. If you cannot pay the entire amount at one time, you can submit a partial payment. If we do not receive payment for services rendered, this will affect you coverage. We have the right to suspend service.

What if I forget my password?

Use the initial screen to have your password emailed to the email address used when you first enrolled.

When is the money drawn from my bank or credit card account?

Payments are drawn from your account the same business day or the following business day, if a payment is submitted.

When is the money for the payment drawn from my bank account?

The funds for the payment are debited from your account on the schedule payment date. Keep in mind that you should always have funds available to cover the payment on that date.

Who can pay for my health plan?

Anyone who has access to your myCHPW account can make payment.

Will I receive a reminder that I have an E-Bill ready for viewing and paying?

You will receive an e-mail notification reminding you that an E-Bill has been added to your account and is ready for payment.
